Retailer earnings use the actual royalty per sale you entered. Direct earnings = sale amount excluding customer tax − percentage fee on that amount − fixed fee − delivery cost.
Why this way?
Retailer royalty formulas vary by store, territory, tax treatment and file costs. Using the royalty you actually receive makes the retailer side defensible. The direct side is still an estimate based only on the fees you enter; VAT, refunds and other business costs may sit outside it.
